KOI CON 2014

A big thanks to all of our presenters, speakers and sponsors for making this event happen.  Hope you had a great time and made some valuable connections. See you all next year!

What Is KOI CON?

Everyone wants to hit it BIG, make a career of it in the music industry.  But who knows what you actually need to do it?  Just a lot of luck, right time, right place?

KOI CON is a one day independent music conference that will give you the tools you need to take it to the next level.  With Canada’s top industry professionals and special guest speakers Steven Page (former lead singer Bare Naked Ladies) and Sam Sutherland, author “Perfect Youth: The Birth of Canadian Punk” there to answer your questions, you can’t afford to  miss this.  Find out how your career begins at KOI CON.ca and check us out on Facebook and Twitter.

The panels will be followed by a “speed dating” mentoring opportunity designed to enable interaction by conference participants with the music industry professionals.

KOI CON is targeted at independent artists representing a wide range of music genres from our region including rock, folk, blues, metal, reggae, ska, country, punk, and jazz, and music industry service providers and venue operators.

KOI CON and KOI Music Festival together will help kickstart the careers of independent musicians in our region, and enliven the music scene in venues and clubs!!
